The Handsome Boy

This is a picture of Bambi taken 2 years ago when my cuzzie, R, came back to see him/her family in 2007. He was born in Dec 1996.

***230409........this is a sad piece of news for me. Just received an email that Bambi left for the rainbow bridge this morning..

Bambi Boy

Fi's canine relative, Bambi has been diagnosed with skin cancer recently. He underwent an operation in Feb this year to remove a large sized lump on the left side of his mouth.

There are more 'growths' appearing in his tiny body now.

He seems listless / tired after meals.

This is a sad time for all his human pack.

U are such a brave boy Bambi, despite your health condition, U are still wagging your tail whenever I visit .

Your human pack loves U alot!

See Ya again frisbee ger

When I left for work on Mon morning, I heard Dae bark, howl, whine as I walked towards the car. I was rather sad I had to leave her alone. I called home a couple of times to check if her howling, barking, whining had stopped.

I got home early to play frisbee / walk her.

At night, her parents came to pick her up. I was happy that she would not be alone as I had to leave for work very early the next day, sad that she was leaving me.

Stay well and happy frisbee ger, U were great company

Day 3 of Sundae's visit

On Sun 290309, I took Sundae to meet some friends. She wasnt put in her crate like she would normally be. She jumped up into the backseat and as i drove, she just looked out of the window.
Still looking out of the window from the rear of the car.

She surprised me by behaving so very well in the car, she either sat down or peeped out of the window.
Sundae was treated to ice cream by Joey's Mum, Aunty G.

Sundae waiting patiently as we watched the on going on stage.

We had gone to see Joey do a 'live' Search and Rescue demo organised in junction with SCDF
Sundae / Joey / Pepper (Fiffy's regular companion and dog of Fi's Godma, Aunt M)

Happy Dae in the garden everyday, either checking garden out or playing frisbee.

Dae with her 'tulang' given to her by Fi's Godma. Her exclaimation upon seeing Sundae for the very 1st time....."Oh, they look so alike".

Day 2 of Sundae's visit

On Sat 280309, Sundae woke me up at 5+am, putting herself between my bolster and I. She gave me the eager, 'take me out for a walk' look. I am an early riser and used to take Fiffy out for her hour long walk from 530am.
When Sundae stayed over the 1st time, I had taken her for such walks and perhaps she remembered.
Its still dark and after half hour walk, I took her to the park that Fi used to go to on our walk home.

Sundae at the kid's slide wondering what the noises are....dogs were barking and joggers were around

Sundae, unsure and checking out the surroundings.

Dae still looking around in the dark.

when we got home, she headed straight to my Mum's balcony as she must have smelled her breakfast.

In the late afternoon, she heard the little one and came down to keep her company.

This is Snoopy, who lives a stone's throw away. He is a frequent visitor to our gardern and Fi used to play daily with him.

Sundae intiate play with Snoopy when he came by.
They played for a while in the garden, without any aggression shown towards each other.

Too tired from the day's activities, Sundae rested on neighbour's sofa while we watched telly.
