My Dearest Angel Ger

Today marks the 1st year that Fiffy Ger has left planet earth to be with the other Angels in Heaven. At 7.15am this morning, I lit up candles at home in memory of her.

When I was out in the garden this morning playing with Happy Boy, something strange happened!!! It was like a sign from up above that all is well with Angel Fiffy Ger.

Out in our open garden above open skies, I felt something dropped onto my head................it felt like a rain drop! But there wasnt any rain!

A bird had flown past and had dropped something onto my head! I went in to tell my Mum and she said......"how strange... its like its timed to land on your head!" I then asked if she remembers that TODAY is Fi's 1st death anniversary! She too agreed that it was a well timed message meant for me.

Fi, as always, U are so very mischievous in 'delivering' your messages to me. Memories of our times playing / going out together are very ALIVE in my heart!!!

Dae's revenge!

and this is what Fi's sister Sundae has to say/give to the CARE-LESS dog owner/s who had deprived her of spending much more time with her beloved sister Fi.

2nd September 2009

Come 2nd Sept 09, is Fi's 1st death anniversay.

The past year succeeding her death had been fraught with alot of pain / grief on losing my most precious gem. There was lot of anger / UNFORGIVENESS towards the CARE-LESS dog owner, their F- attitude towards the whole tragedy, the lies they spewed via their lawyer to my lawyer etc. Although they claim themselves to be dog-lovers, I really doubt so, considering how they 'treated' the whole tragedy.........what they displayed was nothing more than just their F-guilt which they tried so hard to defend! I definitely do not respect their attitude / behaviour. Life is just like a circle and whatever goes around comes around too. I can only hope that they are in their own way repentant for causing the death of my precious dog / I leave this with the GREATER FORCE to deal with such people! Its only through losing one's most beloved ones that we begin to 'feel' for others in the same plight and I can only hope that they do not have to learn this the VERY HARD way!

I know my Fi is always with me in spirit and is pleased that I have chosen 'forgiveness' over 'punishment'. It had been an extremely difficult year for me but through all the difficulties I had many 'awakenings' / messages from Fi that pulled me through it all.

It had also been a year where Fi's canine relatives passed on too. There was Lucy and Angel, dogs of Fi's Aunt SC in Melbourne / Bambi, dog of Fi's grandaunt.

Fi's Godpa, Uncle Milk2 has also left planet earth. I believe that when one leaves here, one begins a new life in another dimension. Whenever Fi was at Godpa's place, Godpa would ask Fi, 'U want milk2?" and she would follow him so2 closely, hence his nickname.

There are so2 many fond memories of Fi / her Godpa / her canine relatives.

I hope all our human relatives / canine relatives have gotten together and having a great BIG party over on the other side!!!!!!!

Happy's 1st visit to a restaurant

Last night, Happy, my niece and I went out with Aunt Ja to celebrate her forthcoming birthday.

Happy was so2 well behaved and sat on the chair, NOT even begging for food!

He only LOOKED with his greedy eyes!

Towards the end of the dinner, we allowed him to sit up and he did only when allowed to.

For those dog lovers who want a sumptuous inexpensive seafood dinner with your furry one, go to House of Seafood at 180 Yo Chu Kang Road. I had sms the owner prior to my visit and he was so kind as to allow Happy to be with us. Please call to inform them of your intention so that they can set a table away from the crowd. The nbr is 62827180 / 90019000, look for Francis.

U can be sure that i will be going back for more of their delicious food with Happy Boy!

Happy Training Days

Happy is being 'obedient' trained / he is attending training every Sunday. Since going to 'school', he has improved and isnt barking so much at other dogs. He is still easily 'excited' when he sights / scents the presence of other dogs.

Perhaps he wasnt given the chance to interact so often / much with other dogs in the past.

Happy, quite calm with other dogs who are in his class.

Happy enjoying himself with his agility training / ooo, its so nice to see him so happy playing!

Happily, crossing the bars during his training!

The IRRESPONSIBLE OWNERS

Yesterday, I took Happy to Bishan Park in the evening. All dogs were playing and running around until ONE TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE couple walked in with their dog pictured here. The moment their dog entered the 2nd gate, it bared its teeth to all the dogs who were around him.
The most unbelievable REACTION was that the couple DID NOTHING to remove their dog. They stood like 2 stone statues looking at their dog baring its teeth, ready to snap at any nearby dog.
Immediately I held onto Happy's collar, who was near the aggressive dog and I quickly and lightly tapped the aggressive dog at its neck to snap him out of its aggression, else the other 3 or 4 small nearby dogs may have been attacked.
Whats more shocking was that I was reprimanded for 'having touched' their dog, instead of mine who was an innocent bystander??? This statement in itself, reflected the extreme stupidity of the irresponsible dog owners whose dog would have attacked any nearby innocent dogs that were within its reach.

Instead of being responsible enough to stop a potential dog fight, the couple went on to accuse Happy of 'touching'(provoking) their dog, something that Happy NEVER did. I completely ignored their accusations / and all the shit that they spouted from their mouths as they headed out of the park with their dog.

Minutes later, the totally DISSATISFIED IRRESPONSIBLE couple, made their way back to the park, but this time, stood outside the fence with their dog, announcing to everyone LOUDLY / to those who bothered to listen to her, that I had no reason whatsoever to touch their dog etc. I just turned a deaf ear to illiterate dog owners!!!!!!!!!

It wasnt the dog's fault at all. They may love their dog / even accept its aggresssive behaviour but there were other dog owners present with their dogs whom they love just as much and their dogs' lives are at risk when such irresponsible dog owners take such dogs into the park UNSUPERVISED.

Some years back, dogs could only be admitted into this park, after undergoing a temperament test. It was a much safer place then for all the dogs, unlike now.

If the couple has any BRAINS / GOOD COMMON SENSE, they would realise that in any fights, be it between dogs / humans, the 1st thing to do is to ward off / block off the attacker from its intended victim.

Doggies Love

We feel a tremendous love for our dogs and our dogs sure seem yo love us. But is a dog really capable of emotions? Or are we just projecting our feelings onto our dog?

Scientists avoid the subject because part of what sets humans apart from the animals is our ability to experience feeling. To say that animals actually have feelings, in the same way we do, would change everything-perhaps disrupt our entire position and standing in the animal kingdom.

However, any dog owner knows that dogs love completely and have a greater capacity for love than most people. If one were to describe the main characteristics of a dog, they would be have to be:
1) Strong affection
2) warm attachment
3) unselfish loyalty and benevolent concern for others.

Probably why the author of "Dogs never lie about love", Jeffrey Moussaieff masson writes, 'Dogs are Love". So there isnt a question of whether dogs love, they mystery is how they have such an enormous capapcity for it. Dogs who are neglected or abused still show love for their humans and wag their tails in hope of a little affection.

Dogs taken from abusive situations hold no grudges towards the human race. A half an ounce of kindness from a new person results in an abundance of affection from the formerly mistreated dog. Humans rarely have the capacity to so completely forgive and love under those circumstances.

Probabaly the biggest reason the dog has become man's best friend is because we know that when it comes to love, a dog can always outdo us. The highest form of love, AGAPE LOVE, which is completely UNCONDITIONAL, is something people ofthe have to work at or grow into. To love someone regardless of what wrongs they hae done you is very difficult for humans.

A dog, however, is born with an endless capacity for AGAPE LOVE, and doesnt even have to work at it. You can be a complete grouch, ignore your dog and refuse him your love. When U decide u are ready to be sociable again, your dog doesnt pay U back by ignoring U too. He's just happy your are there. More amazing still is that the love that dogs and owners feel for each other lasts a lifetime. This is the ideal love humans strive for but often fail at.

Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson so beautifully writes in "Dogs Never Lie about Love" Learning to know somebody is often the beginnings of dislikes, sometimes even of contempt. Among humans, love often does not survive a growing aquaintance, but in a dog, love seems to grow with aquaintance, to get stronger, deeper. Even fully aquainted with all our weaknesses, our treachery, our un-kindness, the dog seems to love strongly and this love is returned by most dog-loving humans. We, too seem to love our dogs more the more we get to know them. the bond grows between us and our dogs.

This is why we need dogs, they do something for us that rarely a human companion can do. No matter how much U mess up your life, or how much wrong U do, no matter how many mistakes U make or how often u make them, regardless of yoru looks, income or social standing, YOUR DOG NEVER JUDGES U. He always thinks U ARE WONDERUFL AND LOVES U WITH ALL HIS HEART!

"extracted from I cant remember where' but the above is so so true!!!

Happy Boy

This is how Happy Boy (formerly known as Pepper boy) looked like when he 1st arrived at Fi's Godma M's home late last year.
Hes so FULL OF HAIR.

This is current CLEAN CUT Happy Boy, all hair trimmed! I like him this way! Nope, it wasnt my idea to have him so neat... he had some rashes / spots on his body and GodMa M shaved him clean so that he can be treated.

O, hes so spoilt by his Mum / me!

Happy is undergoing obedience training every Sun evening. Other than his barking at other dogs, hes pretty well behaved, non destructive, non aggressive, non demanding and very mild mannered.

Hes pretty much a Happy boy! And I hope hes happy to find his forever home!

Happy Boy / Pepper Ger

These are dogs of Fi's Godma M.

Happy's former owners were migrating to NZ and as Happy failed the blood test, he had to be left behind. Upon hearing the fate of Happy, Godma M, quickly agreed to look after him, else he would have to be sent to SPCA. What a lucky boy!
Happy went to Godma M's home a month after Fi's death. He is now 3 years old. A happy go lucky fella, not a well socialised dog, gets very excited / anxious / barky whenever he sights other dogs. Having looked after him for some weeks, I realised that his bark is his way of initiating play with his canine friends. Quite different from other dogs.

Last Sun, Godma M, took him for his 1st lesson in obedience training, and altho he was barky initially, he did calm down, while other dogs were running riot and were uncontrollable. Godma M was so proud that he was the best behaved dog among the lot!

I am so happy he is a member of our family!

My Most Beautiful Angel

it has been more than 8 months since my fiffy-ger left to doggie paradise. There had been many 'knowings' / messages that came forth during that 'difficult' period for Fi's entire human family members / her GodMa M and myself.

There were many dreams of Fiffy-Ger. Some of her being mischievous / some sad / some 'enlightening' ones on her 'sudden' death.

Physical death = eternal life. I am comforted knowing that she is safe with GOD.

Someone said that our dogs dont stay with us for so long cos they dont have issues like we do.

Some of U may know / not know how Alfie came into my life. I personally would not have gone to a pet shop to buy a dog. I prefer to adopt one and thats what I did. It wasnt that her former owners didnt love her, they loved her lots. Unknown to them / me, they had somehow "selected" her for me. Fiffy, as she is affectionately called, came into my life through some unusual circumstances.

I saw/knew/played with Fi when she was a puppy. Twice or thrice weekly, we would go for walks around her neighbourhood, Bishan Park etc. Prior to my formally adopting her in Feb 2004, she would stay over with me every Thursday in my former home.

Her former owners had named her Alfie as their own names start with the alphabet "A" . I didnt change her name upon adopting her. Her boyish name was so suitable for her as she was such a gangsta ger, totally unafraid and so very courageous, game for anything and everything! She thoroughly enjoyed her Search / Rescue training so so much and I enjoyed watching her 'in action'. Its a pity/sad, her young life(050403-020908) ended so suddenly due to another dog owner's GROSS CARE-LESS-NESS and MERE ARROGANCE, with TOTAL DISREGARD of our laws. My small young bitch is even much more intelligent than that two legged brain-dead BITCH! All animals are far more intelligent than we ever give them credit for. Ask any animal lover this!

Many 'unknown' things happen in our lives for which we can never comprehend / forsee and Fi's entry into my life is one of such. We had such great fun together, went almost everywhere together. I would boycott those people / places that didnt accept / respect /snubbed her presence. She was a very big part of my life and everything that I did revolved around her well being / happiness!

To My Most Precious Gem, Fiffy,
U are my greatest HERO in my life. Thank U for all the happiness / laughter U brought into my life. These are the unforgettable times in my life. Your love is so unconditional, so forgiving, so ungrudging. You are the little one with the biggest heart I have ever known! A heart like a mountain! You were so full of love and life and U are so so so alive filled with so so so much love in my heart!
